When all hell breaks loose:
When all hell breaks loose in your life the question creeps into your mind; Why is this happening to me? The one answer I have in mind is this:
For His Name Sake. For the sake of the Kingdom would be my second answer. When you love the Lord your God and He desires to refine you for greater works for the Kingdom your heart gets a check-up. To purify our motives and strengthen our character God uses the pain we suffer, the wrongs that have been done to us and the frustration of being stuck in a situation too long.
It is good for me that I have been afflicted, that I may learn Your statutes. -Psalm 119:71
Understanding that there is value and purpose for the trials we experience will help you to endure and stand in faith. The word tells us that we are warriors, and soldiers, and that we are more than conquerors. One of the most important things to conquer is self-development. We do this by constantly checking ourselves and dealing with flaws we have acquired just living life.
You have to be taught who you really are. To be taught means that you will be trained and come face to face with a battle. As a soldier on the battlefield, you will be responsible for carrying out orders, instructions and or strategies. It’s up to you to take responsibility for correcting your character flaws. God has promised in His word that if you walk uprightly, He will not withhold any good thing from you.
You are a soldier in God’s army. Since there is a time for war, know that there is a time for peace.
Genesis 17:1 “Walk before Me and be thou perfect” Perfect means to walk with a pure heart. According as He hath chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love. Ephesians 1:4 KJV
Remember that you have been blessed to be a blessing. we are going to understand how God can take 10, 20, or 50 years of loss, and if we have our heart right with God, then it doesn’t take long for God to start restoring back to us the years that the cankerworm has eaten.
